Edmund Winston was born abt 1824 in either Louisiana or Viriginia.  He was owned by James Germany McDade in or around Bossier Parish.  He was brought to Texas around 1859.  After emancipation he acquired over 500 areas of land.  Edmun died on June 18, 1899 and is buried in Bethlehem Cemetery.
Ervin Winston was the son son of Edmun Winston.  He died in April 1884 and was a twin to Henry Winston.  He is buried in Bethlehem Cemetery.  He was quite young when he died.
Felix Ridge died in Vietnam.  He was 19 years old.  He was not killed by enemy fire but some sort of drowning accident while off duty.  He was the great-grandson of Edmun Winston.
Verge Pope Ridge was the granddaughter of Edmun Winston.
Leonard Lee Favors is the son of Elizabeth Pugh, grandson of Raymond Favors, great grandson of Amsee Favors and GG grandson of Pompey Favors & Texanna Winston and Edmon Winston's ggg Grandson
William Henry Favors was the great-grandson of Edmun Winston.  The oldest son of Amsee and Jimmie Reynolds. He was born in Ivanhoe, Texas, died in Seattle, Washington and buried in Fresno, California.
This headstone has been taken out of the cemetery and left alongside the road.  I do find Lizzie in the census but I do not know who were her parents.  She married Holley Jackson and the family can be found in the 1870 census.
Maggie Ward Jackson is believed to be the wife of Edward Jackson, Dec 1882.
